Me?!?! Naaaaaaaa. Timing and location have had a lot to do with what I've done and where I've been.
There was that open Saturday in Moscow where I couldn't get into Red Square so I wandered down the west wall and discovered you could get inside for $.25. There's churches and a pretty nice park inside.
KGB headquarters? What a dump!

hobie, do not argue with DM! She says you are cool. Her husband states you are a most interesting man, & besides - we all voted ;) -
you are the coolest. Case closed! The famed Cow Palace??? OMG, what a trip that would have been!!!

I've only been there once...an R V show. Not the same.

I vaguely remember going to a John Lennon/Yoko Ono concert in Toronto when I was stationed in Niagara Falls, NY in 1969. I remember heading out with a bunch of guys but I don't remember anything else about it. Tough night! The others told me the Yoko was awful anyway so I didn't miss anything good. Still would have like to have seen John Lennon though or at least remember seeing him.

1974 (ish) - The Osmonds
I liked Donny and Marie alright, but was a huge fan of the Brothers, particularly the kind of stuff later covered by The Mission, Tank, or KMFDM. Still tend toward bands with interesting drumming that can handle singing in harmony (or who fake it, like The Police).
Favorite Osmond Brothers tune:

Evanescence was on Letterman years ago. They played one of their first hits that had about five minutes of piano solo and thirty seconds with the rest of the band. After the break, Dave and Paul were wondering why the rest of the band even showed up.
