Stupid Guest Tricks

As new Floridians and new AP holders (but not, we hope, passholes) the other half and I have been visiting about once a week. The other we day we were getting on the Nemo ride and the CM quietly asked me if I'd like her to slow the ride down until I got on because I'm using a cane for now. She did it so graciously no one else noticed. I wish I had caught her name. But thanks, it makes a difference.

Are there really SG t-shirts? I also heard that there is a "what time is the 3 o'clock parade" t-shirt. True?

Also the first time I won in a head to head (or ankle to ankle) with a stroller.

I'd say 99% of the audience for the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert in Chicago was at least twenty years younger than I am, which I didn't really expect. I figured it'd skew younger, but not by THAT much.

I did expect to hear "One Winged Angel," although it wasn't listed -- it was the encore. :) The electric guitar was not missed, even though I miss it on the YouTube orchestral version. Also finally got a name to go with this song:

I keep writing it down to search for it and maybe I'll remember it. I never had the remotest idea who did my favorite songs on the radio; once MTV came along I could finally go looking for them because the name was right there in the corner. Yes, the DJs said the song's name, but of course by then I was thinking about something else, so I always missed it.

I'm going to my very first concert and the singers aren't even real. XD

Simon & Garfunkel, Long Beach Arena, 1970. So much dope being smoked I'm surprised I *can* remember it.

Before that (and since) I was into musical theater. Saw "Man of La Mancha" in 1967 with Richard Kiley pre-Broadway at the brand spankin' new, not yet finished, Los Angeles Music Center. No, the old one, before the Disney Hall.
