Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I'll rephrase that. It's not that bad if you go there when you have a cold... if you catch my... drift.

Why is it that our IT department can't figure out that when they take away the DSL line set up to connect to messaging monitors, Tech Services (in charge of maintaining those monitors) is going to have a problem with it.

No DSL, no connectivity, no updating the messages on the monitors!

Can I volunteer someone to be the new "Timmy" on "Mr. Lizard's World"? :kaboom: :kaboom: "I think we need another Timmy"

Okay, after the obscure Dinosaurs reference and finding a smiley to match, I feel better.

I am at the front of wal mart and ask how to get to heaters DOH the dude gives directions to the northeast corner but they are in the south east corner, IDIOT. Then I say that away. Dude then tells me clearly that if I get lost to go to a cash register. Like I am some damned retarded idiot, he was talking to me like I was a kid or a retard. I was about to bitch slap him to other side of the store but then said woot a story for disboards and SGT.

I have a dumb looking face and talk weird at times so he thought I was a retarded little girl by the way he spoke to me. As I walked away I grumbled something about my 110 IQ. I dumb down my IQ but gosh I felt like a kid by the way he was talking to me.

I now need to find a board to cuss in as I am so mad.

Yay Hardware Wars.. I figured that was were you got it from..

Either that or from the Muppet Show when Mark Hamill was the guest. Gonzo dress as Darth Vader using the same name.

No VCR needed. Here it is on Youtube:

Hey, that's the funniest thing I've seen all day. Geez, I love that show. Some baby calling their father "Not the Mamma!" is classic.

Hugs to Churchy. There's no reason you should be treated like that in any environment. I had a lady on a rental scooter last night who you didn't need to ask if she needed it, she had very obviously had a stroke and walking was a painful experience for her, and speaking in a way you could understand was extremely difficult. Then, as I was loading the rest of the guests, I saw some guy give her a dirty look for, as he saw it, being a convenient way to get your family on the bus first. Had I not been in costume...

I was just mentioning Hardware Wars to a co-worker yesterday...

Now I need to dig it out, hook my camera up to my vcr (for the digital pass through feature) and get that baby digitized and on my ipod :)

Did you ever see Troops?

I know what a camera is, I have plenty of those. But what's that second thing you mentioned?

Just for reference, my wife and I had one the first three years we were married and never even plugged it in. Made a great support for the DVD player, though.
