The Lil' Husker just called to let me know she's going to see GWAR in concert. Maui don't get no GWAR.

If you know the secret, opening a coconut isn't all that hard.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Secret? It's brute force to get the husk off followed by the application of a stone to split the nut in half.

Zazu,

Won't you lead us all in a rousing round of "I've got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts"?

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts
there they are standing in a row
big ones small ones some as big as your head
...

We just got back from having dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Zazu. They're on a fifteen day Disney cruise through the islands and then on to Ensenada and LA.

We had a great time talking about WDW, Hawaiian sovereignty, flowers, and how we'd be drinking the cloud that was enveloping the West Maui mountains in a couple of months. Just regular ol' dinner conversation.

They are very entertaining, aren't they? Great conversationalists, and they always have something interesting to talk about.
