HAPPY THANKSGIVING! May you all enjoy the day with those you love most & friends dear. We hit Costco & shopped with hot dogs & coke. Easily found all the menu items, a few great buys on jeans, boots, some Christmas gifts for Toys For Tots, & those huge yummy pumpkin pies hobie alerted us to. 3 turkeys & 6 large pies + filled the car, then we ran to PetSmart for our Wonderful Resued Pets - they need a special feast too. :cat3: :dog6: Now there are 4 cooks in the kitchen & each has laptop helping turkey prep. I was asked to exit kitchen as I won't measure, always burn, drop, break, generally screw things up (well planned ;) ) Sweet semi blind pup & I are watching Jay Leno entertain our troops on his Tonight Show. Thank You Jay & God Bless all of our troops & veterans who have given us the freedom to enjoy this 2011Thanksgiving. Enjoy & Peace to al SGT posters.

If you plan on watching football after the big turkey day feast and are concerned about the tryptophan putting you to sleep, marinate the bird in Red Bull before roasting.

Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey
"If you're at a Thanksgiving dinner, but you don't like the stuffing or the cranberry sauce or anything else, just pretend like you're eating it, but instead, put it all in your lap and form it into a big mushy ball. Then, later, when you're out back having cigars with the boys, let out a big fake cough and throw the ball to the ground. Then say, 'Boy, these are good cigars!'"

Wouldn't that just lead to high-energy dreams?

Ugh! Nothing worse than dreaming all night that you are working your butt off, only to awaken and head right back
