My mom was trying to collect the state quarters before she died, but she got them through the U.S. Mint. She got Alaska and Hawaii about a month or so before she died. I ended up using them for laundry before I had to vacate the apartment.Goofyernmost wrote:I don't know about transportation cards but I can tell you this...I have been trying to collect, from regular cash transactions, the entire set of 50 State Quarters. I've been working on that since it's beginning and had them all except Alaska. Well, on my trip to WDW last week I received change back when I purchased my precious Mickey Bar and there it was...Alaska! Thanks Mickey, however, now I don't know what to do with all those quarters...maybe I should buy more Mickey Bars!

That was one expensive laundry. Those U.S. Mint Quarters are expensive. They end up costing about $1 a piece. I know because my wife had ordered some to complete her Quarter collection. A $10 roll will cost $40 from the Mint.I ended up using them for laundry before I had to vacate the apartment.
