Now that's just harsh.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I think I told this story before. I had an 8-track player in my car. One morning I discovered someone had broken in and left me ten tapes.BRWombat wrote:8-track.

Yes, but it never hurts to tell it again.

I have to confess, I skipped 8-track. I went from 33s, 45's and reel to reel, to cassette.DisneyMom wrote:I sense another Confession Thread.....

My first record ever was The Lion Sleeps Tonight.

I just recited this post to my entire family and everyone instantly started laughing.hobie16 wrote:I think I told this story before. I had an 8-track player in my car. One morning I discovered someone had broken in and left me ten tapes.

That's like an old joke I once heard.hobie16 wrote:I think I told this story before. I had an 8-track player in my car. One morning I discovered someone had broken in and left me ten tapes.
An accordian player had parked and locked his car. As he walked off, he realized with horror that he had left his intrument in plain sight. He hears a crash of glass, and running back he realizes he is too late. HIs window is broken and there's a second accordian in his back seat.

IIRC, it was The Best of Guess Who. Which is funny since they were mentioned recently in another thread. :)DisneyMom wrote:I sense another Confession Thread.....

Re: Mobile hotspots in the parks?
I never had an 8-track player, but my best friend did. The one that I really remember was Bachman Turner Overdrive because there was that stupid click over right in the middle of "Takin' Care of Business". Very annoying.
