Amen. ;)

Isn't Pat great. All you have to do is send a check to the 700 club and you'll get into heaven. ( i know he hasn't said that , but he just about has)

ref). God and God alone knows when Judgement Day will occur, man cannot predict when it will happen. Verse 44 says "So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him." Jesus will return when we He is least expected and a lot of people are expecting Him to return tomorrow.
If I'm not mistaken this isn't the first time this guy has predicted the end of the world. He and his followers are going to be in for a big surprise tomorrow evening after the "appointed time" of the rapture comes and goes and they are still here. In addition to the verses from Matthew above I think this preacher and his followers need to read
Luke 21:8, "He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them." I don't know if he is claiming to be "he" but he definitely is claiming "the time is near".
I believe that Jesus will return one day. When we cannot know nor does it really matter, as long as we try to be the best people we can be. We don't know when we're going to die or when the world will end. It'll end when it ends, just keep on living every day and not worry about it. As Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) said in
The Shawshank Redemption,
"Get busy living, or get busy dying."
Very well said Shorty!

Ditto!
I was listening to BBC4 (playing around with my TuneIn Radio app for my Android phone) on Friday, and they were having a bit of fun with the end of the world prediction, saying that since believers might leave their clothing behind when they are raptured, Saturday night would be "one big rummage sale." Another suggested people might want to check the clothes and see if car keys were left behind as well.
The best line I heard or read about that goofy preacher that predicted this was something along the lines of, "Hey, you've got to give him credit. If he's wrong, it's not the end of the world!" :D:

Jeff Dunham had a great idea when my brother and dad went to see him before my dad visited here. He said the thing to do was leave your shoes out in the middle of the street, full of dry ice.
Especially effective in Florida.
I wish I had heard it BEFORE the 21st.

Heard there was a group that was offering to take care of (for a substantial pre-paid, non-refundable fee) your pets that would be left behind...
Why can't I think of a fun way to take advantage of the simple people?

As nifty as Stitch is, I would rather take after Experiment 262, AKA Ace. :cat1:
Unfortunately, I'm more like Experiment 625, Reuben. I'm not as snarky, but I do like a good sandwich....
Wait, what were we talking about again?

For those unfamiliar with all of the Experiments, these two are:
:ace: :reuben:
Reuben's the one with the jar of mayo.
Wait, what were we talking about again?
Oh like *that* matters around here!
