So it got really crowded. Like, more crowded than its been usually by my cart. So I had to start nicely asking people to move...because they were leaning on my cart, opening the lids to see what was inside...you know. And I was getting a little worried about the people opening my lids.

But, I managed to kindly ask the boy to come down of the cart because I didn't want to see him get hurt. His parents gave me dirty looks and muttered about how they couldn't see the show now that I had him get off the cart...So much for safety first!

I've had parents sit their kids down on our carts WHILE WE WERE MOVING on/off stage. It takes a lot of will power to resist hitting the E-Stop and watch the kids go flying off the cart!! :twisted:

And I can't stand parade time at IC5 (the one by Small World) because it means that stupid guests either sit behind my cart or directly in front of it.

If there is a hot foods cart, why is it that the parents let their kids climb on the wheels? # 3 has wheels, if you make billy climb on the cart, believe me, that cart might end billy up in a body cast. Also, I have seen stupid teens try to touch the ice displays while the CM's are slowly coming out into the park. Where are the paper knives?

Slow is an understatement. If those carts were any slower and we'd be out there by park closing.

Well, parades aren't a problem for the time being, since there are none. I haven't had people try and stand/sit on my cart whilst in transit, but I have people who will follow WAY too closely. Every time I have to adjust speed or slow down quickly (I try not to hit the E-Stop onstage unless I REALLY have to), I always check behind to make sure nobody goes "THUD" into my cart....especially the ones who text and walk right behind me. It's worse when an ECV follows too closely. I've had a hit and run with an ECV. ECV rear ended me, and took off!

The biggest problems I deal with while moving a cart is 1) people who try to steal things off the cart because they think they're slick (and I always catch them, because they most certainly are NOT slick, just because I'm driving a cart doesn't mean I can't see you :rolleyes :) and 2) people who swear up and down they can clear my cart by squeezing inbetween my cart and some other immovable object (wall, rock, etc) and losing. They never hang around long enough for me to even ask them if they're okay, they run away from me...probably in embarrassment!

Remember how they say in the parking lot that Disney Vehicles have the Right of Way? Guess what, its the same rule in the parks, and those carts are vehicles. :p:
