My favorite is a variation on the "Are you hot?". It is the "Why is it so hot?". Get that one at least 5 times a day (yay, spring/summer!). The other day, I just looked the SG in the eye and said "Oh, my bad. We forgot to turn on the external A/C today.". The sad thing? I think they may have believed me... :p:

you should do the "we retracted the dome that covers the park" one, and see the reaction!! :D:

but I took it as humor.

I guess you see animosity?

have some rum.
Rum's OK, but really I have no animosity just curiosity. I don't understand the response and I just wondered what, if anything, it meant.

I don't mean to be a total SG, but, this made me wonder - would this be something seen as suspicious for reasons such as trade secrets and such, or is there an actual physical threat involved? Maybe it's because it's Monday, and I'm just not all here, but I must be missing the point.

The scary thing, I'm sure Disney would be completely capable of creating the world's largest retractable dome to cover a park! I'd like to be there to see the jaw drop for that though.

Last week we had some warm days. I was on my cart and SG were asking how a CM handles the heat while working next to a food warmer. Lets see, it keeps a temp at 170 to keep the food warm and the doors are kept closed so the CM's and SG who crawl behind the cart does not get burnt.

If you have an umbrella out here and it shades you, you are not as hot as others wonderiing aimlessly through the park. If the SG wants to keep cool, go inside a place and sit down. My sister and I go into the a/c areas to keep cool. :)

Don't be silly. A retractable dome would be quite impractical...

No, what they need is a a dome made of individual clear pieces that can be rotated to be "open", for allowing air to circulate, or "closed" for climate control and/or protection from the elements. Ooo, and they could be set up the pieces so they could polarize them, then they can adjust the lighting level of the whole park! :cat1:

But... wouldn't a non-retractable dome be decimated by the fireworks?

8^)

I'm guessing they'd replace them with fiber optic fireworks on the dome itself.
