I, too, thought it was pretty cool when I heard about it. I spent a week at WDW for my birthday a few years ago, and as a birthday present to myself, bought myself a Pal Mickey. It was great fun listening to what he had to say and stuff. I even took pictures of him in different places. Like sitting on Mickey's mailbox, on the fence, etc...
