I will say that whenever I go to DLR, the toilets are kept very nicely and I rarely see anything terrible-Pity poor custodial, they must be going crazy keeping up with all the slobs.......

I have noticed the same thing, nasty toilets in the Parks. I remember when we went to DL in the 1960's and 1970's, the restrooms were always clean. It seems that I find more dirty restrooms then clean ones these days. It really is nasty to try to find a clean stall after passing 8-10 that have not been flushed or have paper and wet puddles all over the floors.
I always use the toilet seat liners and keep my "Wet Ones" towelettes in my purse if anything needs to cleaned up a little before I touch it. The seat may be cleaner than some other things, but not if it is wet and unflushed from the last patron and you cannot sit on it without wiping it off or you have to hover. I HATE to hover. I really like my clean loos.
I carry "Wet Ones" with me always and wipe my hands with them anytime I touch anything. I use them after I open a door. (usually the bathroom doors are closed, or I sometimes use a paper towel to open the handle) There are so many germs all over the Parks and I have been sick with the flu or a cold at the Parks too many times. "Wet Ones" help keep your hands clean.
I have always been pleased at the Disneyland Hotel loos. The lobby bathrooms are very clean.
I remember going to City Hall at DL one day to report that restrooms right next to City Hall were so dirty that there was not a toilet in there that was not dirty. They said they would get a custodian in there right away. That is pretty bad when the terlets in Town Square are so filthy you cannot find one stall to use...

As a female, I strongly agree with this. Someone on another board I frequent called them "hovering pee dispensing UFOs." With the people I work with, the toilet seat is almost surgically cleaner than their desks, but they're still afraid to plant butt on it.
I always clean up any accidental mess I make. It's my body fluids, I shouldn't make someone else clean them.
What possesses women to do some of the things they do in a public restroom? I have seen some disgusting things done with feminine materials, some of them leave you wondering what kind of person would do that?

Speaking of the Crocs' prices, I've seen them here in the UK for £8, Mickey head-shape and all.
Child sizes like, but still.

I have always found Disney restrooms to be cleaner than most public restrooms.
And I've seen this posted in more than one women's restroom "If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat".

A message in the gents' at a Chinese restaurant told me to "watch my aim", which I found highly amusing. :D:

Maybe this is why people let their kids pee in the bushes ;)

My aunt had a variation on that on a plaque in her home bathroom, ending with "Be a sweetie, wipe the seatie."
It has scarred me for life. Ever since first reading it I've wished I could
un-remember it. :shaker:

I've seen those; I think they're cute.
I think this issue has been mentioned before; I seem to remember someone saying why do women hover over the seat, do they think they are UFOs from the planet WeeWee? :D: Oh, the things that stick in my mind sometimes....

In re-reading this thread, I just remembered I had a pee trauma once that was worse than the pee shoe:

Never, ever pee in a palmetto grove. Those freakin' things are called saw palmettos for a reason.
