My friend's daughter's school was shut down because most of the kids had swine flu. Her daughter has the flu and is staying home until she gets over the whole bug. Smart mom! :)

Ugh, work load is doubled due to Swine Flu.....
SG of the evening- has the flu but refusing to wear mask because it makes her cough more. I explain how not everyone in room has it yet and how highly communicable it is. I closed curtains around her and warned everyone to not go in there
I wear mask because EVERY patient seems to have a cough. Had my H1N1 shot a week ago, so another week until I have immunity

At work, if you have the flu, you are sent home and are not allowed to return until you get over it. If I serious get sick, I call in and stay home.

My friend works at a medical clinic. She is a registered RN. She says that allot of kids have the flu and seriously need to learn how to cover their faces when coughing and sneezing. I was told to cough or sneeze into the elbow. If you use your hands, wash your hands!!!

Both Mr. Syndrome and I picked up something on the last days of Halloween Horror Nights that is in bloom right now. I'm thinking cold rather than flu since we're both coughing and his nose is a faucet while I have a waterfall of snot in the back of my throat. Blech.

I had that about a month ago, it went into an infection. I ended up on an antibiotic. About half the kids at the school were out and a quarter of the staff. I hope you both feel better soon.

I'm way ahead of you! I have some tea from Nassau that contains real rum, so I've been using my cold as an excuse to indulge.
