Only a few more days and we'll be at the Mother Park (as Zazu has called it before). :) You think you can hardly wait? What about me, I'm a Disney Nutcase and I've never been to Disneyland in my life. I've always wanted to go and I've been looking forward to this since we started planning it many months ago.

I already got my bags mostly packed and ready to go. A few more things that I can't put in until it's time to leave (such as my laptop) and I'll be fully packed.

I can't wait to finally meet you and have you show off DL to us.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

The weather will be nice. No rain forcasted yet. We are headed for another heatwave. It makes WDW look more humid.

Ride closures:

Casey Jr Train Now 10/3
Haunted Mansion 9/10 9/26
Mark Twain Riverboat 9/8 9/11
Main street Opera Now 12/17
House
Space Mountain 9/8 9/25
Storybook Canal Now 11/20
Boats

DCA Closures:

Orange Stinger Now 4/29/10
Paridise Pier Now 10/20/09
The Vineyard Now 10/4

As usual the HM goes down for 2 1/2 weeks to covert over for Halloween time.
The park has been fairly slow. Yesterday BTRR had a line of 2 minutes for most of the day and went up to 5 minutes around 5 pm.
If you catch Fantasmic! It will be on the weekends. The new dragon is working and is worth seeing.
Cast Discounts are still not allowed on the Outdoor Vending/Outdoor foods carts. They might have the registers, but it was not programed for discounts of any passes.
Fireworks: If they have them will be usually Friday and Saturday. I remember not seeing them on Sunday. I don't know their reason.
I am not sure about the parade times.
The corndogs are good, the turkey legs are somewhat salty, cream cheese filled pretzels are good, DCA has good food. If you get to the Paridse Peir, there is a resturant called Ariel's Grotto Restaurant. On the back side is a bar with really good side orders and alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.

I think some of your info is wrong. I understand that they aren't doing the overlay this year at the Mansion because of the 40th anniversary which starts right in the middle of the dates you posted. Though I just checked DL's site and Mouse Planet and both are showing the Mansion closing down. I'm hoping that's a mistake.

Man, I was so hoping to go on some of the attractions that are going to be closed, such as Space Mountain

Aww, man ... I go out there to try and ride Space because ours is closed (and yours is better anyways), and now your space mountain is closed? Bummer!

I got this off a up to date cast member reference guide.

I wonder if they have SW and SM mixed up?

I know that there is a Haunted Mansion convention this coming up TH, I bet it is an error. You could be right.

DL opens at 10 am and closes at 8 pm T,W, and TH
DCA opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm T,W, and TH

Sneak Peek for next week:

DL: Fri and Sat 9 am to 12 midnight, Sun 9 am to 11 pm.
DCA: Fri, Sat and Sun 10 am to 8 pm

OK, Parade time: 7 pm :)

No, DL Corn Dogs are Fantastic! Will have one when you 3 are @ DLR. Never get a chance to have Corn Dog when I'm working. Leave time window open for In-N-Out. :)

T- 0:0:2:19:22:45 and counting to departure. But who's counting?

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
