HAHA! :p:
ALWAYS eat dessert first, you don't want to ruin it by eating too much of that healthy stuff! ;)

Miss Piggy says,
"Never eat more than you can lift!"

One of my favorite Muppet show episodes had Christopher Reeve as the guest. One of the shticks had Reeve trying and failing to lift Miss Piggy. At the end of the show Reeve and Kermit were joking that Reeve really could have lifted Miss Piggy as he had lifted safes that weighed as much as her. Upon overhearing this, Miss Piggy tries a karate chop on Reeve only to bounce off with a loud ringing sound. To which Kermit joked: "What do ya' know. He really is the Man of Steel!!"

Garfield says, "Life is so uncertain--eat dessert first." I used to eat my dessert first in grade school, and the lunchroom monitor always bawled me out for that. Especially if it was a teacher pulling lunchroom duty. Where is it written you must eat dessert last? Huh? Honestly....

And just for the record, I'm housesitting this whole weekend, and I ATE MY DESSERT ALREADY! And I don't expect to eat dinner for another couple of hours! :p: ;) :D:

Thanks for all the kind words, advice, and offers of help. I'm touched.

As some have observed, prostate cancer moves slowly, so there's no sense of urgency here. Orlando also happens to be one of the centers for the development of robotic surgery for this condition, so if that's the therapy of choice, I can get top chops locally.

My condition has been somewhat eclipsed lately by SWMBO having been diagnosed as having had a silent heart attack. Neither one of us trusts her current cardiologist, so we'll be getting a second opinion soon in any event.

As the saying goes, old age looks pretty good, but only after you've considered the alternative.

Whew...prayers going out for both of you. That silent heart attack sounds downright scary.

I'm sorry to hear about that, Zazu. Give my best wishes to SWMBO, as well.

Though it's good to hear that you have so many fine hospitals in Central Florida. I'm sure you'll both be in the best of care :) .

Gosh, Zazu. Take good care of SWMBO and make sure she takes good care of herself. Sounds scary. Hopefully you'll find out it was not a silent heart attack, but maybe just a case of indigestion or something. :(

I'm hoping we can meet up in May for a nice breakfast at Sanaa.
