It's still there right now, in a year, who knows? My kids like the ambience of the castle, so do I actually and are stuck in their ways.
Mary Poppins actually really intimidated my autie son. I told her they give me a hard time about cleaning their room and she jokingly told them off and my son just gaped at her, utterly disgraced. It was great. Another Kodak moment for Mom.

But it's only spread amongst grown-ups, so they wouldn't have to worry!

I was told off by Peter Pan once. It was a few years ago...my cousin and I (I think he was 15 and I was 13) had just ridden Pirates, and were looking around in the gift shop. He had one of his lip rings in (ugh...) and I bought one of those necklaces that have the gold piece from the movie. Peter Pan walks in, screaming our names at the top of his lungs...apparently, my dad, stepmom, grandma, and younger cousin had been waiting in line to meet him and Wendy, and my stepmom told Peter where we were and what our names are.

Well, we didn't know what was going on (ie, if there was something wrong, etc.) so we slowly walked over to PP. He asked us who we were, we told him, and he ran outside yelling "I found them!" Zack and I walked outside to see a small crowd gathered around the entrance to the store, watching the show. PP then saw Zack's lip ring and my necklace, proclaimed us to be pirates, and announced that he wouldn't talk to us anymore. Okay...

I'm mortified, and I'm sure Zack is too, so I inform PP that we are most certainly NOT pirates, and that we just stole this "treasure" from the pirates. That fixed that problem, but Wendy still wouldn't let us wear the stuff in the photo. The worst part?...my dad got it all on the video camera. Not to mention the fact that 20 or 30 strangers saw the whole thing.

Looking back, it's pretty funny. But when it happened... :o: .
