You and I both know that our present announcer is disembodied Dave!

How could you forget so soon? :D:

I kept hoping the big Rat would whack the little monster in the head! (no permanent damage, just a little life lesson whack)
Maybe the little girl will get what I got during the one and only time I went to Chuck E Cheese (and I was her age too.):
BRONCHITIS. Ugh, I was sick for what seemed weeks. :(

Well, yes, the place seemed packed to the gills with squirming small fry, none of whom probably washed their hands for a while.
We ate in the back, far away from the little darlings. I know, still no guarantees, but at least I wash hands before eating!

Okay, fair enough. However, I have to apologize to the person who does the announcements.

First off, I always thought he was probably someone back in Burbank that may or may not have actually been to Disney World. Real name is Skip, lives somewhere down Old Lake Wilson Road, and is an equity Cast Member who's been with the company in various forms for years and years and years.

Now, I would like to meet him and find out what he did to get into his current line. And for my assumptions about him, I am sorry.

I've also come to the realization that the fact he doesn't sound very good on the Monorail is not actually his fault. He recorded spiels with facts and details that have been cut out, so it sounds like he's beginning a script and just stops. That's because someone decided to hit the cut button on him right after the first thought.

Also, I have to begrudgingly admit that he is much, much better than, say, the New York Subway guy or the one on Portland's MAX.

All that said, I still want the job.

If you find out how to get into doing voice-over work for the company, PLEASE let me know. I'm very interested in this.

Working on it. I really do want to be the next voice of Transportation, along with several other things. I am probably the only person who truly loves when there is a slight delay in the system and they need someone to make an announcement. But only if I am the closest one to the Microphone.

Just for the record, it's the Transportation and Ticket Center, not the Ticket and Transportation Center. Pet peeve. Sorry.
