HP builds PC's and installs Windows on them. Smart people format the drives and install linux or freebsd :D:

Really smart people would partition the drive and run all three.
Geniuses use Macs.

What if I'm running Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and OSX on the same box?
Oh, the other reason for windows, most people are familiar with that OS, which is why many companies go with it on the front end.

If Disney has such a relationship with Apple why is everything Windows based? The registers run on a version of Windows, the Photopass computers run on Windows, Photopass's PDAs run on Windows, the computers we use to program the sewing machines run on Windows, and so on. I don't know of any computer that doesn't run on Windows.
That is why MiMs does not work. Another winblows fiasco. An "ix" kernel would work much better in this case.
