We had lots of those in that theatre!
Here's the show on YouTube if anyone wants to see it WITH the title character!

Re: Code 101

Here are some of my favorite character/show/parade "malfunctions":
-Mickey losing his pants in the middle of the Polynesian. Poor Mick was laughing so hard backstage it took him a minute to get them fastened again.
-Donald Duck having a costume malfunction during SADCT. This was when the villains float was down for rehab for the new parade, so the villains were in front of the flood. Donald had to walk to the bridge so that he could exit the route, and Cruella grabbed him and started yelling: "Who wants duck for dinner?"
-Minnie Mouse's dress coming unizpped on Thanksgiving night in the middle of Spectro. Minnie couldn't move her arms for the choreography because if she did her dress would fall! This happened on Main STreet and nobody caught it til after the Liberty Bell, so she had to stay on her float. Everybody on Donald's side got a nice look at the back of her wide open dress!

-When Mickey had an "ear problem" during SADCT in front of the train station.
-The ducks who decided to stop the parade by crossing in front of Pinocchio's float. Poor Pinocchio was laughing so hard at the ducks and the unfortunate captain who was trying to chase them across the street that he could barely dance or talk to the guests!
-Ariel losing both of her shells during Spectromagic! (don't worry, nothing inappropriate was shown, but Ariel was a bit embarassed.) Ariel learned that washable glue is not good under the sea ;)
-CTS Rehearsals when a reindeer got an antler stuck in the lattice work of one of the arches. Watching the other reindeer try to reach high enough to get the poor deer unstuck was rather amusing.

Ah, I remember Mickey and Ariel. ;)
I have a few of my own:
*When the Fairy Godmother lost her drawers during Cinderellabration
*Walt decided to, er...shave during SADCT
*I wasn't there for this, but there is a video on Youtube- Mrs. Potts fell over during BatB.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

I just got accepted into entertainment for the college program, and I have to admit, these stories are making me a little nervous! (while laughing. lol)EeyoresButterfly wrote:That is insane! All the stage managers in entertainment that I knew would have had a heart attack if they witnessed that kind of behavior.

I've heard rumors of the "Pocohantas-less" Pocohantas show, but I never heard the whole story until now. Although there may have been multiple instances, because the story I heard had them doing the whole show, but using a recording for the Poco tracks, and having all the performers look off the stage-left side when addressing Poco. (It's the "SPIRIT" of Pocohantas ...)Theme Park Where wrote:we did HALF a show WITHOUT the title character! We never forgave that stage manager!

What does that mean exactly?EeyoresButterfly wrote:Joanna, I think I was with you the day that Walt decided to shave! We were laughing so hard...
Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.
Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

Why not "Code P"? That would eliminate the confusion!Mad Maxx wrote: "Orange Stinger 101 due to Code U on the platform. Again, Orange Stinger 101 @ [time] due to Code U on the platform. Control clear."
I was all "Oh, Stinger is 101, who cares..." before it clicked in my head that it was for a Code U on the platform. The the "Eeeewwwww" hit.
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

I am assuming that meant the Walt Disney face character lost his mustache during the parade.smart1hermione wrote:What does that mean exactly?
