Yup, you got it!

They were the backup group for "The Monkey's Uncle" theme song. A bunch of unknowns with a garage band the week they recorded it, they had hit the charts before the film was released. It left one talent scout with a very big grin indeed!

I remember seeing that movie! I liked the theme song. It's a cute picture; if anyone hasn't seen it, if it's available on Netflix or at Blockbuster, etc., rent it and watch it.


Getting back to the free credit report pirate commercial, if you watch the old lady, she first starts to rock out to the song, but then when it gets to "I would've seen this comin' at me, like an atom bomb", it's like she realizes what the guy's singing about.

Last time I tried to get my 3 way credit report, I was told they couldn't find my records. They didn't recognize me when I logged in, somehow. I went directly to their site, so WTF?

Interesting. The one time I tried using their services, I never got the free report either. They did send me several solicitations for additional (pay) services, though. I canceled before the free trial period was up, never having received anything.

BTW, this was to annualcreditreport.com, not the one in the commercial. They sent me some paperwork saying they need photocopies of my Social Security, card, etc.. I don't feel good about this.

Thats kinda wierd. I did it online and dowload a different reporting agency's report every four months! that way I get all three within the 12 month limit.


Also, one of my credit cards give me a free credit score from TransUnion every month.
