Then I could shave (shudder) and work half the year.

Well, I know what you mean. I have had a mustache since the 70's and I would not look like any of my I.D.'s if I shaved it off!

Actually, backstage roles have to abide by Disneylook as well unless there is a religious restriction. My friends in costuming were told this is because it would be unfair to the other cast members who do have to abide by the Disneylook, and you never know when you may have to go into a guest area.

Don't try to get access control to give you an ID if you don't have the "Disney Look"

The badge nazi would not replace mine a while ago because my hair was a little long!

Tell that to the Aramark people. I've seen a bunch of them not abiding by the Disney Look. Then again they are operating participants (if even that) and never go onstage.

Speaking of Epcot Power Outages...my friend once told me a story of her time at Epcot. Apparently her brother (she was about 5 and he was 10 at the time) had to go to the restroom. For some reason, he ended up peeing in flower bed which had a camera in it. The next day some kind of power outage occured and the family blamed it on the brother. Not sure if that would be possible , but it's still a funny story any how. :)

Good story! Bet he never did it again.

WELCOME to SGT! Marsupials - front and center for an official welcome, please! (They'll be along shortly, I'm sure. Or at least one of them will - the other one might be loitering somewhere on vacation).
