I love fudge but very few places guarantee it is gluten and soy free. I love divinity and maple goodies. Sigh.

500th post! I'm now a Jabberjaw, yeah!
1. Congrats on your Jabberjaw status, Shorty!

2. How could you possibly have NEVER stopped in at Confectionary? I'll bet you've never been in the Main Street Bakery before, either, have you?
You don't know what you've missed. We expect a full report on those two shops when you return from WDW later this month. :p: (That's my tongue hanging out. I'm too lazy to go find the drooling smiley thing.)

That's something we don't have here - See's candy. Except in the Navy commissary. How come they can get it but Albertson's can't? Never mind, I know the answer to that question.
Anybody coming to visit from the west coast - bring See's!!! :liplick:

Whenevery I had to travel for work, I would try and buy a couple bags of their famous suckers to give away. You would be suprised at grown men and women acting like kids over a carmel sucker!!

Because my family is more concerned with riding rides and all than taking in the details and all. There's so much to do and see on Main Street but since there's no rides there we don't hang around long. I plan to spend some time on Main Street while there this time. There's nobody to stop me.

Isn't that an amazing feeling? I have spent so many years running around doing what everyone else wanted to do that when we got to meander and do our own thing last time and spent extra time on Main Street I just fell in love with it completely. I see now what my grandparents saw in it all those years ago.

I aim to spend a good deal of time there on our April trip- looking for Dapper Dan sightings, visiting with the streetmosphere (I didn't remember there ever being as many folks out there as there were our last trip! Not only the mayor and is her name Hildegard? But I saw other ladies out in the street in gorgeous costumes too) And I want to spend more time in the street at the Studios hunting up Streetmosphere there too.

Hilarious thing from our last trip: My husband is wheeling me into the Studios and I'm holding my forearm crutch over my lap (I wish they'd put a holder for the damn things on the side of the chair already!) and we go up and the director is in his chair and before I see him I hear through the bullhorn. . . "And here, ladies and gentlemen we have Hollywood's preeminent stunt woman. Sorry about the accident."

ROFLMAO

We bantered back and forth and I told him that I told CB I was never going to work with him again, and the director was just insisting that it was not his fault ROFL.

Those are the moments you can't plan, and why I firmly believe now that over-planning and over-scheduling WDW trips to 'make magic happen' can actually work against you, and prevent the most magical moments, which can in most cases only happen by chance.

Take that stroll down Main Street at your own pace, Shorty, and enjoy it! And tell us all about it afterward :)
