Just got back! Sending you big bear hugs! I liked reading the humourous stories of *eternal peace*. That is how I want to go out. Laughing and still making other's laugh when I am gone!
Hugs to all who need them!~

Prayers and positive thoughts for all of them.
An update on Karen's son: He's still in ICU but neurological signs look good and they've removed the intracranial pressure bolt from his head. They are eaning him from the ventilator and wil install a trach tube. He's responded to stimuli and his neck fractures are aligned, fortunately, so should heal on their own. He's still sedated and not awake, but things are looking better.
Thank you to all who sent prayers and well wishes.

And thanks for sharing your humorous stories about your deceased loved ones. Humor heals many hurts. :)

Zazu wrote:May as well join in with my story.

As I may have mentioned, I got a new day job about a year ago. I'm the second director of a 50-year-old organization. The job came open only because the founding director passed away. In the process of evacuating the old headquarters in Daggett, California, some things got put in the wrong boxes. The founder's nephew, who had lived there with him, got some of the records put in his storage locker.

We got the former director.

We're presently holding his ashes "hostage" in our video cabinet until the nephew returns the records, but I'm not sure he wants his uncle's ashes badly enough to pay the shipping.

Boy howdy, just when you think "skeleton in the closet" is just a turn of phrase..... :skeleton:
:hysteria: And just think -- if you ever get an obnoxious customer, just refer him to the former director. :D:

I think that's who they have working in Customer Service for a particular airline I have had issues with in the past. . .cause problems never get resolved.

I was going to say, you might want to watch what you title yourself around Pirate or Darph. They might read the wrong things into you being the "Bru Fairy". :D:
