I'm suprised that they didn't go with the type that POTC uses. With a track assist at some points!lady ulrike wrote:That's exactly what is wrong, thanks Al Lutz (I think that's who it was who told that information as factual) I am so tired of having to explain to guests that no, we are not closing to get a new flume because people are fat (and that's how the guests say it to me, not how I would put it)
Okay, the flume is going to be deepened, but one inch, but to be perfectly honest with you when boats get stuck it is not that the entire weight of the boat is too heavy it is that the front is heavier than the back (or vice versa) It's not even that there are heavier adults in the back, it's often a case of kids in the front adults in the back, so the back is heavier and since it's a boat it floats with the back further down and hence gets stuck. By having the flume one inch deeper we are hoping that this will be less of a problem, but this particular situation of boats occasionally getting stuck has been a problem since the beginning and it is almost always a situation of a badly balanced boat. (Sometimes it's a problem with the boat)
