Yeah!, DW and I just connect a CC to the room key and close our eyes, were on vacation and expect to pay a price, but since we don't really splurge on stuff we justify it, and of course, self-justification is one of the most powerful forces on earth!!!

(second only to a vengful women, of course!!)
hehehe
(please dont kill me!!!)

9 years ago a soda pop was $2 at least and the fancy drinks were very expensive.

this year the prices are what I call "tourist" prices, you can't go anywhere else to get it cheaper, and you want a drink when you're thirsty.

just gotta pay the price and enjoy it!!

Especially the RUM drinks!!!!

I would prefer to go to the Hess station, pickup a 30 rack and chill out at the resort. Of course you can go out to Gooding's for the RUM.

I make the assumption that the Hess stations sell alcohol! Not sure what a 30 rack is but again assume is something good to drink!!

We do the light travel, if we want something to eat or drink, we just get there!

Actually WDW is rather cheap when it comes to prices for amusement park food. Hershey on the other hand..OMG 13$ for a hamburger(single) and small fry. yeah right, I aint that stupid, we took a cooler and put it at the picnic tables outside the gates. A bit of a pain, back and forth but no way am I shelling out that kind of cash for food.

I figured out for the 3 of us to eat breakfast lunch and dinner for 5 days in FL (and not including food on the road--cooler) will only come to like $300. If we can get a good rate for the off-site hotel we want, they have free continental breakfast (good for me, I dont like a big brekkie) Late Lunch at CS, snack, and maybe Dinner at CS or wait till we get back to hotel area and eat cheap at a buffet late. That is 4 breakfasts per person free. That doesnt include dessert, that is what the snack is for, and sharing drinks. All Hail, save money girl. I will have little stuff for Meghyn to snack on if she really is hungry. (you practically have to starve her to make her eat a real meal) Plus the hotel we want has a fridge and micro in it so I can have water bottles cold for the parks and leftovers to store for late nite munchies.

A 30 rack is a case of beer. So Grumpy, your assumption is correct. Yeah, Hess stations sell beer and wine (but don't expect much of a selection in the wine dept.).

My DH loves the oversized chocolate chip cookies they sell everywhere at WDW. However, we have learned to shop around for the best price. Example: At the American Adventure in Epcot the cookies were $3.29 EACH! At the bakery in France they were $1.79 each. Each place that sells them throughout WDW seems to put their own price on them. Best price is usually at Trails End Buffet at Fort Wilderness, but we didn't have time for the boat ride over there just to get a coupla cookies.
