It's official! In a side by side taste test, Wall-E is way cuter than Johnny 5! :D:

Holy crap I think I found something new! (If you've seen this before, please ignore my excitement, but this is neat...like almost as neat as the website I stumbled onto for the Blair Witch Project months before that came out...)

First, I found this on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slnR1GjoDRk

You'll notice at the end of this video, it advises you to head to:
http://www.buynlarge.com to learn more about your new wall-e unit. :p:

Granted I can't take credit for this discovery because it made it to you tube before I saw it anywhere else, but I'm excited! Please slap me down like the insolent peon I am if this is old news... but we have a date too! 27Jun08! And a Plot outline (Hope this doesn't qualify as a spoiler...stop reading now if you are the easily spoiled type...it's just a rough promo-type overview from an Apple website... http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/walle/hd/ ):
it's in white so you have to highlight it to read it...
What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off? Academy Award-winning writer-director Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo”) and the inventive storytellers and technical geniuses at Pixar Animation Studios (“The Incredibles,” “Cars,” “Ratatouille”) transport moviegoers to a galaxy not so very far away for a new computer-animated cosmic comedy about a determined robot named WALL*E. After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL*E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL*E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet’s future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALL*E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen. Joining WALL*E on his fantastic journey across a universe of never-before-imagined visions of the future, is a hilarious cast of characters including a pet cockroach, and a heroic team of malfunctioning misfit robots.
I can't wait! It looks awesome! He's SOOOOOOOO cute! [/fanboy]

Somehow, the SGT site doesn't seem to want to let me edit that last post to try other colors or at least add space to better hide the questionable content. Sorry to anybody who's offended, but at least I'm not a complete moron: I did *notice* it didn't work quite how I wanted it to...

[Fixed by mods.]

Oh well...in other repetitive posting news, on the BnL website, there's an address for Mail that has a legit New Jersey zip code...I'm thinking about trying to send them a letter to see if I can become part of the BnL "Street Team"... Also, you *have* to click at the bottom of the site for the "information about the BnL privacy policy" It's hilarious! :D: Sorry...I'll quit now. I'm just getting so amped about this movie! I love a good promotional campaign!

You're right... it wouldn't be fair to the crocs. But then, having to listen to the demise would not be fair to me or my good guests, either. I know, that's bad grammar, but it says what I am thinking.

They would have been up sooner, but nobody told me about this thread. Remember, if you want a smilie, please send me a PM.
I knew you'd be along sometime. I'm patient.

There is a tag you can use to hide spoilers -- just put the word "spoiler" in brackets [] at the start of the text you want to hide, and a corresponding "/spoiler" tag at the end.
It looks like this!
Great link! I am really pumped about this movie!!

Hey, thanks for that BRW and Hobie! I had done it the other way on other boards, but somehow I just forgot that the background for posts on this board is not white! I appreciate the tip, though! I'll hopefully have reason to use it in the future... [I'm not into posting real spoilers, I hate people who give away endings to books and films, but there are people who don't want to know *anything* at all, and those are the people I don't want to offend!] :D:

I took a class in college on theatrical theory. According to the information presented, there are only about 23 different plots for stories possible. (That number is an estimate...I can't seem to recall the actual number--guess I should've paid more attention in that class!) They can redress the story any way they want, but it will fall into one of those 23 (or so) categories, no matter what they do to it. If you buy into that logic, any story would be familiar on some level...
