Stories about guest behavior in theme parks.

This reminds me of something I read recently. Back when Mary Martin was doing a return of Peter Pan to the stage, one night there was a slight mishap with the flying harness. As she "flew" out the window the harness flung her rather hard against the brick wall off stage (and about 2 stories up). She took it with humor (and much bruise covering makeup). The next night, as she flew out the window she noiticed something attached to the wall where she hit the night before. As she got closer (thankfully much slower) she saw that a bed mattress was bolted to the wall with a sign "Mary Martin Slapped Here".BRWombat wrote:My kind of church show. I was the one who suggested for the last scene in our productions that we put "Jesus" into harness and tie him into bungee cords stretched from the ceiling. The disciples could hold onto him until time for the ascension, then boom, they let go.
I always figured he could just grab onto one of the ceiling beams -- and if he misses, hey, Second Coming. :D:
Sadly, no one ever took my idea seriously. :p:

Have fun! If you are having fun, they will be having fun, and you should be a shoe-in. But don't be afraid to get back on the horse if you don't succeed the first time. ;)

I was glad to see that our tour guide on the steam train tour was a man of size, gave me hope for when I can move to Orlando and start chasing down that dream job :DBRWombat wrote:Hey, maybe I could work at Disney. I've got the BIG thing down cold. :D:
