They are nice in the park but I would not take one on a trip especially after my heavy duty luggage got its frame bent and one piece got ripped. Why do people take expensive items to parks? If you cannot replace it then do not bring it. I guess they want to have the most expensive items and show off their status.

I like the Orbit but for that price I could put most of the money in a bank account and buy the kid a car when it is older.

OOOO...that Storkke one in just NEATO! The price ain't tho. I guess if you want to treat it like fine china it may last until your child hits the 45 lb mark, but with my kid it wouldnt make it near that long. I cant see using it on a daily basis and having it last a while. Nothing is made THAT good.

I'm happy with our Maclaren, I don't have to slouch when I push it and I don't kick the wheels like I did on our $20 umbrella stroller. Yeah, it was pricey, but it is worth it. We also have the rain cover, it stays in the "cargo" area that also currently holds an empty water bottle, and a map of either DL or DCA from our trip.

We love ours (chicco)for the same reasons. We are tall ppl and I used the cheapo umbrella one for the first time in forever about a week or so ago. Good LORD! Thot I was gonna have a broken back from bending over, not to mentionn my wrists were killing me from the "umbrella" angle of the handles. The Chicco has the ergonomic style -----sooooooooooo much more comfy to hold onto.
