That would be magnificent. You bring the plywood and I'll bring the saw.

I would like to speak for all SGs when I say that we often forget that the CM turning people away at the entrance probably isn't also the expert mechanic for the ride. That and we forget that we aren't entitled to everything.

Heh... oops!

Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.

Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

Pretty lame reason to spend thousands of dollars to visit WDW just to go on one ride.

I can't tell you how many SGs I got at the Splash Mountain photo shop who went on the ride near closing time, did something stupid that got their picture deleted, then when I told them the ride was closed and they couldn't go back on, they whined that they spent some ridiculous amount of money to travel from somewhere far away just to get a photo on Splash Mountain. Another version of this SGT had the SGs walk up to us after the Attractions CMs closed the doors, so we got to hear the "our vacation is ruined" whine since we were still open for the guests still on the mountain.

Man, how I wish I could have said, "So let me get this straight. You spent $1,500 to come from ____ just to ride Splash Mountain and buy a $15 picture of yourselves with 2 complete strangers, which we say is 5x7 but really is only about 2x5 because of all the bordering, and you waited UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY to do it?"

The sad part is, there were too many of this type of SG to count and I probably only worked there about 10 times in the 4 years I worked at the park!

Off-topic question here for Attractions CMs: On attractions with on-ride photos, do people really ask to be given their own separate vehicle just so they don't have strangers in their pictures? And if they do, do you give it to them? I assume it all depends on how many people they have and how busy it is....

We never had anyone ask at RnR but we would have said no if they had.

Those people are dopes. We got on SM first thing in the morning with another couple. When we got to unload the other couple got off and the CM asked if we wanted to go again. Absolutely!! We got a great picture and upgraded to the cool wooden frame.

Ah, that brings back memories of riding SM in loops one January when it was about 40 degrees out...Too bad they normally make you get off on rides such as the TTA.

Ah, gotta love this line. I get the same one over with the characters:
"It's our last day of vacation, and all we wanted to do was meet ___".

Also, another one I get a lot is:
"Our plane is leaving in 5 minutes!".

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

I know there have been times that my group has ended up with our own ride vehicle ... at least a few times that I can think of on Tower. (granted, one of those times, our group was large enough to completely fill 2 whole elevators, so they really couldn't do anything other than give us our own vehicles) Another time, we wanted to do something special for the 100th ride of someone that was in our group (Hi Rachel!), so we asked for our own elevator, and they gave it to us.

Hey I know a bunch of ppl that were in that 100th picture. One of them I even sleep with when he is not relegated to the doghouse (aka..the couch) :D:

That has to be the coolest ride pic I ever saw BTW.

Unless it's mondo busy they don't. I have a bunch of friends who staged a TTA marathon one December. Kept a whiteboard to keep track of everyone's score (folks would get off at times to visit restrooms or grab lunch). The CMs thought they were exceedingly weird, but harmless.

LOL.. Hey Rat, how many times did you do with us on the TTA in Sept? Wasnt it 3 or so? Great place to rest the feet and get some unusual angle for photos of other attractions.(you have to time it just right ;) )
