Or, if they leave the blanket in place, there's another way it could be "treated." See this thread.

HEHE! :p:
We could also send them to Syndrome for "Poopy Cat Cleanup/Make ALL Cats smell like Poopy Cat Treatment- said blankets torn to shreds, Problem Solved.

Also good for tripping up Heely Brats (Throw blankets in their path, then use blankets to clean up the blood)

Please, no flames from concerned parents. I have no intention of approaching your little darlings. Or poopy cats.

DisneyMom wrote:At our local movie theatre, jerky guy was saving spots for friends with his jacket who didn't show up until AFTER the movie started while my kids had to sit in another row.
Had that a couple weeks ago at a theater near me. Guy was sitting one seat in from the aisle. When asked if the seats toward the middle were taken, he said he was saving "these four" motioning to the three surrounding his plus his own. The theater was kinda full but not totally, so we were able to sit near the middle of the row no problem.

Previews start, no friends. Movie starts, no friends. All during this he's been on and off his phone talking to someone (not very quietly, either)
*Finally* his friends show up at least 25 minutes into the movie. Of course they don't pay much attention and walk up the stairs on the OTHER side of the theater. When they see that he's on the opposite end of the row from where they are, do they walk down, across and back up? No, they walk *across* the row making everyone scoot back or stand up.

BTW, these are TWO friends for the THREE seats that he saved...

So these two girls that are now arriving 35+ minutes after the published start time have missed a lot of the setup for the movie, and the guy spends the entire movie telling them who's who, and explaining things to them every time something happened relating to what they missed... (again, not very quietly)

ARGGGHHHH!!!!!!

(And it was only a 100-minute movie (The Hangover). 25 minutes into it, why even bother? Better thing would have had the in-theater friend leave, and see if management would be willing to exchange his ticket to a later showing that all 3 of them could go to)

Too bad I'm in FL, not CA. I could smuggle in Poopy Cat as my service animal and smear his butt on all the unattended blankets (although he's pretty much recovered now...the new kitten still has anal leakage every now and then if he gets too many treats so he's a good candidate too).

I love to piss off the seat savers on my Disney cruises. I had one idiot tell me he was saving the whole front row of the Walt Disney Theater once! I parked my butt and told him to go complain to a crew member if he didn't like it. He stalked off and a family moved up from the second row and thanked me. They thought he was a CM when he told them they couldn't sit there because they didn't think a fellow guest would be rude enough to claim a whole row.

I did see a pretty sad case of seat rage once though, also on a Disney cruise. It was a movie premier, and there was a family in front of me. They got there early and took their places, and there was an empty seat on the end of their row, as well as one in the row in front of them. Shortly before the movie, the dad ran out to buy a drink at the bar. An older man comes in and plunks down in the dad's seat, apparently planning to leave the end seat open for his wife, who was on her way. The wife of the original family politely told the man that it was her husband's seat, and the old fart lit into her. I mean lit into her with a fury! It was vicious! Normally I would have jumped in and said something, but even Uber Bitch Sydrome was stunned into silence by sheer amazement. I didn't think he was going to get up, but finally he did. All he had to do was move one seat down, and his wife could have sat right in front of him, but apparently that wasn't good enough. So he stands there until wifey arrives and then goes into a rant to her about the seat saving jerks who wouldn't let them sit there. He needed a handful of Xanax rammed down his throat. Finally he skulked away to goodness only knows where.

Wow, just wow. You would think that on a cruise that level of fury would abate. Amazing.

Jeepers... I guess that guy got screwed by the ubersavers one to many times, but seriously, there's a world of difference between saving a seat for someone who was actualy there and went to the restroom or concession stand/bar, than for X number of as yet unarrived and possibly non-existent parties.

This happens all the time when people don't want to use the lockers at rides. They just leave their stuff on top. We are supposed to remove it and/or discard it if it is food. They get pissed of course and whine that there are no signs and of course there are.
