I got fired by another CM making false accusations about me to management!! The thing is: SHE LIES!!! The same drama surrounds her and that's why she transferred from DCA to DL because of it!! Word has it, she got sever male CMs fired for the same thing that I did!! That is totally messed up!! It ticks me off that she didn't get fired for it!! I also heard she has to be in the center of attention, or else she will cause trobule.
I'm so sorry that happened to you. You should try to fight it if you can (or want to.)
I wonder how many CM's have been termed because management (I'm talking Supervisors and above) viewed the CM as a threat.

Thanks!! I want to fight it, but given my past history, I feel that they won't take my case.

DLRFantasmic!Dan, DCA transfers to DL are NOT common at all! Really very difficult. CM must have a valid reason, explain why lose of status (hrs.) is not a problem, have a fine record, needs DCA manager's approval, & DL manager who is willing to accept the DCA CM. DCA CM must also go through the entire interview process at TDA. Transferring is a long involved issue! If this CM is difficult to get along with, has a history of lies, & other negatives on her record/ or is known by management & other DCA CMs as a problem CM - much of this will be noted in her file as the reason she transferred. If you were still at DL this research would be much easier. Contact the union & have them investigate on your behalf. Think I'd even go into TDA H R & Rehire & explain before this wrong becomes a cold storage forgotten fact. So sorry Dan! Wish I could be of more help.

You have to fight it because there will be a next time. You may not care so much about losing your job but what if next time it is a father of 5 kids or a student who has to drop out of school. Bullies keep winning and victims keep getting screwed by the bullies.
So what if you have a history, the facts are what matters. Also there are true victims who are looked at as if they were liars because people who report fake crimes and problems. As for the DCA transfer, the girl who hung around with pin traders about 4 years ago, went from DCA to Innoventions. I wonder why they would transfer her and not get rid of her if she was having these problems but then again based of my friends' treatment by their bosses at DLR, anything is possible.
Please fight it as you do not deserve to be labeled what you are not.

I left Animation Academy for much the same reason. The clueless manager whose name shall remain Trevor said that they were getting rid of me because a couple of people complained about me. Never mind that I never even got a chance to hear what those complaints were or had a chance to defend myself.
I am convinced that the real reason they got rid of me is that I wouldn't shut up and accept the absolutely idiotic and insane policies they were trying to implement into the attraction. And somehow idiots like him are allowed to continue to be managers even though they horribly mistreat cast members and don't bother to take care of the needs of their employees.
I was told, too, that I should fight the transfer, but by then I had absolutely no desire to work for that jerk. When the next auditions for Animation Academy and Turtle Talk came around, I didn't even bother to go because I didn't want to work for him.

And then there was the cast member in Mexico....during the Millennium celebration.....in December, IIRC, it was NYE. There was one CM who was a little slow, and was a favorite to pick on. Arturo took it into his head to call from the outside shop to this poor guy. Told him there was a bomb. Of course, management was notified. I remember that he confessed, he felt so bad. He was in jail for a while before they deported his butt--
Maybe had to do with JIMMY CARTER being in the Park, and Secret Service and FBI everywhere.

I talked to Trevor and he is just an idiot. A former RO who became manager based on his physique.

I say it is about time!!! You know what they say, "What comes around, goes around!" I say Kharma came back to her and bit her on the ass!!

It is never too late to complain. Even a late complaint will raise some attention. I would still file a complaint. Disney seems to be rife with a few bad apples that make it bad for the good apples. Pin trading at Disneyland was pretty bad with a group of CMs who wanted pin trading gone. My friend lost her job for refusing to work with or under a CM who falsly accused her of theft of pins. Mind you not $1000 works of art but cheap cruddy pins that had no resale value. It happens in all work forces but lucky that the bad apples are very few in a very large orchard. Hugs Zazu and everyone here while saying "you all are wonderful and it is great to be back here"
