OMG, yeah! My boyfriend and I were in Pizza Port after we rode on Space Mountain when I had a hispanic lady do that to me! If it's one thing I hate, it's line jumpers and I totally called her on it and made a bit of a scene, but she went to the back of the line! :D:

The Japanese are probably the most polite people the characters interact with. They are ALWAYS patient (Always meaning always. i have YET to encounter rude or snappy Japanese guests), value the magic of the experience, don't always have autograph books, give gifts as a token of thanks, and just do cute things! I've learned some interesting things from them, like how to write the names of several characters in Japanese.

Compare this to other people, like one I experienced today:
(woman about 100 feet behind Goofy as he's going in)
"Goofy... Goofy... is my son's birthday. I want peecture."
(goofy waves, blows kiss, continues)
"Goofy! Come back here!! My son wants peecture!" (as son is aimlessly wandering around)
"GOOFY!! GOOOOOOOFY! GOOFY IS MEAN! WE NO LIKE GOOFY ANYMORE!!!

When it comes down to it, I think Americans are the worst guests ever. They are rude, demanding, and waiting for 2 seconds it too long.
I was in the middle of talking with a guest and fixing a situation he was having with his park ticket and the fast pass machine, and this lady walks up to me and starts yelling at me while I'm in the middle of talking. I asked her if she could wait a moment while I finished helping out the gentleman, and she was insistant on not waiting, so I excused myself from the first guest to answer her question which was, "Why are my fast passes invalid?". I told her since she already had one for space mountain, she couldn't get one for buzz. Which she found absurd, and left complaining as she did.
Grr!!! So I finished helping the first guest, and ended up giving him extra fast passes so they could ride buzz again for all the trouble they went through.

I've found that talking to them like children usually works when this happens. Something along the lines of, "Excuse me, but it's this gentleman/lady's turn right now, but I will be more than happy to help you when it is YOUR TURN."

But if they politely say "excuse me" and it's a quick question like restrooms, price, etc. I sometimes just tell them.

If I am helping a guest with something and another interupts I turn to the interupter and said "One Momment" I then proceed to ignore them and finish helping my guest. Then I am guest as poliete to the interuptor.

What surprises me is how few guests will call others on line jumping. God help anyone who thinks they're gonna cut their way in front of me! But I've actually had jumpers who I've put in their place move behind me, and the people behind don't say a word. No wonder there is so much rudeness...when you don't call jerks on their poor behavior, that only validates it and makes them act worse next time.

And as for characters, it seems like those special, spontaneous moments are worth so much more than the kamikazee autograph and photograph moments. Once when we were on the Wonder, we had a little girl seated at our table. Her parents were trying to get her to eat, but all she could think about was the Lilo and Stitch party that would be starting soon in the kids club. Finally Dad saw that it was pointless to try to keep her attention on food and walked her to the club. When he returned, he said that they had happened to get in the same elevator with Lilo! The little girl got to ride with her and then walk into the club hand in hand. It totally made her trip. :D:

I love to watch Stitch on the cruise ships. He is so bad...stealing pens, throwing autograph books around, and even pushing the piano player away in the atrium so he can play. It's a riot.

I think people don't call on line jumpers because they look very shady and idiotic already. One guy cut infront of my family and I in the Matterhorn and he was a massive Fast Ass, I figured I just shouldn't have bothered. He was also a certain race but I won't say which. :twisted: Plus, another woman on another board did call on a line jumper and then the idiotic line jumpers started making threats to her on Star Tours. Makes me wish some days that Walt could come back from the grave and kick a line jumper in their huge ass. :twisted:

Two reasons why people don't call on line jumpers (and have both happened to me):

1)The people jumping don't give a damn, and do it anyways, even if I'm like "Excuse me, we were in line first". I don't feel like deailing with it again.

And 2) I've seen CMs see people jump line and not do a damn thing about it, so, why bother?

I was talking to a friend of mine who works Entertainment at DLR who was working with the princesses. One little girl got so overly excited to see the princesses, and poor Princess Aurora ended up having to leave the area rather quickly due to the little girl having an "accident" whilst sitting on Aurora's knee.
