Weather.com is now talking about the rare Nebraska February tornado. First time in 60 years.
Meanwhile, we're expecting mostly sunny at 83 degrees. That might explain why the resort area and Lahaina are packed with visitors. Traffic sucks.

I rub it in every chance I get.
The U of N women's volleyball team will be on Maui to play UH in March. I told the Lil' Husker she should become the team towel girl/tour guide to get a free trip home.

What are the odds that she suddenly decides that UH offers the program that she really wants to take for her second year ??

Not unless Lil' Husker changes her major, & I hope she doesn't. She is Vet Med. U of N & UCD are the two finest schools offering her major. Or so I thought I read last Aug.

I don't think there's much chance of her going to any of the UH schools but you never know. It would save me a huge hunk of change though.
I was hoping she'd stay with the pre vet med program but it looks like she may shift to environmental biology. Between a really crappy adviser and problems with math, she seems to have gotten pushed out. I'm still giving her pep talks so we'll see what happens.

I didn't take this. Here's a cool picture of some spinner dolphins off the bow of an inter island tug boat.

They look like they're wearing bubble-like water bottles on their backs. What is that?
