I guess I've been lucky, nobody has ever tried to cut me in character lines. If anybody ever does I won't stand for it, I have as much right to meet the characters as their kid does.

I may be a full grown adult but I enjoy meeting characters as much as the little kids and probably enjoy it more than some of them.

I like the ones who pretend not to understand english and just ignore you.

:alphaunt: When there would be a medical emergency on an attraction and we would have to go down. Whether the incident was minor or severe, the radio page would always be colde blue. Nosy SGs would be like :

:Oh no.. code blue, that means heart attack!" "Some one had a heart attack on (insert ride name)" - Kid parades around queue, announcing this... :mad:

- First of all, Code blue may mean heart attack at hospitals, but not here.
- It also doesn't help when they see EMTs entering the attraction. (Great I think). Nosy guest watches.... "Look they called a medic! Somebody died! Code Blue! That means someone had a heart attack!"
- Stupid Anoying guest shares his misinformation with the growing crowd.
- I am the only CM blocking the entrance. Answering "what's wrong" "when will it be back up?" "Did someone die!?" " MY KIDS ARE ON THAT RIDE! ARE THEY OKAY!? I SAW A MEDIC GO IN!, GET ME MY KIDS RIGHT NOW!!!!" ...
over and over again.
- You answer the same question 5 times to 5 parties who all heard your original answer..... They want their own individual attention.
- Backup CM comes. Who guess what is a newbie... Stands in the corner and smiles, checks cell phone for texts instead of answering questions.
- Explain to anoying SG, that code blue is any type of injury or illness, even a skinned knee.
- Tell guest that is is "techincal difficulties" (HA HA)
- Fat, beer chugging man, points out that that is bullshit, that he just saw a medic go in and to stop lying and demands to know when the ride will re-open.
- Lady asks "is the ride safe, I heard it broke down"

OH joy, I remember that this will all be over soon. ( I hope) and hum a happy tune. I hope the SG memory is as short as there temper.

My friend was selling turkey legs the other day while the fires were burning. She had a group of SG aproach her cart. They wanted ice cream and started to go through her beverage cart. She said, we don't carry ice cream on the cart. The SG continued to go through the drinks not beliving her. She stoped and said please keep your hands out of there. I will reach in and get them for you. I could understand that because of anyone getting hurt and also there was smoke and ash. Ash is not pretty when it hits ice. It turns the ice a dark gray to black color.

Bless you for putting up with the SG's. But you might want to considering petitioning TPTB to change the code...

Had to warn another little heely darling skating in my clinic tonight, I *almost* caused her to roll in to me as I was exiting a procedure room
I spoke to her nicely, but her Dad was ticked that I suggested that if she knew wasn't allowed at her school, she knew it probably wasn't allowed in the clinic :twisted:

[font="Palatino Linotype"]i'm pretty sure i've mentioned it here (somewhere), but i just can't stand to see people on their cell phones (and i mean CONSTANTLY)...they've probably paid a lot of money to get into the park...and, yes, the lines can be long, but can no one just maybe talk to the people they came with or to someone next to them in line? why must they bring out their phone and start blabbing? or texting? texting is just as bad cuz then the phone comes out...text text text send...put the phone away...take the phone out, read, text text text, send, put the phone away...take the phone out, read, etc...i just recently took my granddaughter to disneyland and i said why don't you just say g'bye to your friends and put your phone away and she said, "does it bother you THAT much?"..i just looked away, but, yes miranda, it DOES bother me THAT much! :mad: [/font]

Totally. I can understand using a phone at the park a little bit. Mainly when your party separates and you're trying to keep in touch, but give it a rest for a little while
