Regardless, I'm sure nobody holds one oversight against you. Aside from that one, the pics you've been posting from FailBlog are totally hysterical... :o:

[although I am still trying to figure out wtf was going on in that picture. Was that just a crappy likeness of mickey with a fat tail from a bad angle? Or should the person in the picture who's taking a picture be arrested for something...?]
Believe it or not... i have seen multiple pics from around the asian countries that depict mickey as being well endowd

Oh Boy! It's dance night. Tonight we have a crowd that just shy of 12,000 and a large fight just broke out in the beer garden! Only a little more than 2 hours left to go for the dance. The beer sales will be cut off in about hour but I think we will probably have another 4 EMT calls by then.

And on the surreal side of things, this could be my last dance night shift. 15 years of working these things and I'm waiting on final word of layoffs. The next dance is scheduled for the last day that those being laid off will be working.

aaauuuuggghhh! I was typing this message and 5 people from Conv. Ctr. management walked in. They are looking at all of the offices and thinking of changes. Is it wrong to feel the need to protect the space we have even as they are shoving the department out the door?

The shut down is at the usual 1 hour before the end of the event. At least this time it will be because of the normal "last call" and not because what happened at the last 2 dances...

Darph, skip the next line of text.

They ran out beer last time.

Sorry, I don't know how to do the spoiler text boxes when I'm tired.

That might explain why my Banana Beer keeps disappearing.

Surf's Up!!

An Alaska man described by his family as a "daredevil" died after "car-surfing" on the hood of a truck going more than 60 mph, the Fairbanks News-Miner reports.

Beth Ipsen, spokeswoman for the Alaska State Troopers, says a woman riding in the truck told officers that Roman Retynski, 34, suddenly announced he wanted to go "surfing' and clambered out onto the hood of the fast-moving truck, the paper reports.

The woman, whose name was not released, said she "lost" Retynski along the road and was unable to find him. The woman, who told troopers that Retynski had been drinking, got in touch with his brother who found the body the next day, the paper reports.

Retynski's mother, Ruth Retynski, told the News-Miner: "This is Roman. He was the daredevil of the family." She said Retynski thought he was invincible.

Retynski's friends said he had car-surfed at least 100 times since he was 15, the paper says.
