Official SGT ADD thread

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

It is a slow day at work. If it wasn't for a few projects and a site tour, I'd head home.
Oh, now the fire alarm is going off in one of our buildings and the guy that's there doesn't not where the panel is. So now another guy is headed over to figure out the alarm.
And now security is on the phone with the fire department who is responding to the alarm. Security wants one of the guys to go meet the fire department but did not ask which entrance (the building has 2 street entrances) the engine is going to.

Okay, false alarm. Seems the first guy was sanding with the door to the security system and network open and some of the dust got sucked into the smoke sensors in the room. OOPS!

Sounds like a fun day that will end up with memo writing!

I came across recently a new for me type of prejudice. Some neurotypicals hate and do everything they can to keep out neurovairants. I was told that I am a very nice and helpful person BUT and too upsetting.neurovariant for their tastes. I so want to make my own group there.
I need a way to get a 150+ pound ECV out of my trunk. Anyone have ways that I can for free or under $50 transport an ECV with my Nissan Sentra.

OOPS!!!

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

All persons on SSI are getting the California portion reduced by $37. Arnie loves us so much that he took away the Senior/Disabled/Blind property tax postponement program.
Come this winter there are going to be limited income Californians who will not be able to pay their taxes.
Good news is that mom is getting a $250 stimulus check thanks to Obama.

Re: Official SGT ADD thread
Here is a puzzle. How do you prevent people from getting on a computer in a classroom on a college campus you need to have running a program for several days so that the program is still running when you come back 2 days later? I hope I did enough, I put an Out of Order sign on it, hit the hard switch on the monitor, and unplugged the keyboard and mouse. I hope this is enough, and even if they call tech support no one will show up to check it for about a week. I hope this works.
