At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I'm thinking about sneaking into my brothers' room while they're asleep and switching the clothes around. (Shirts in underwear drawer, pants in sock drawer, etc.) I'm willing to risk being late to school if I can get them!

Over at disboards my specialties are food and dining, DLR, and disabilities. I gave the standard answer that she should contact WDW but I now present my April 1, 2009 puzzle.
Who is up to a meet and greet with Churchy at Yamabuki at 8 pm tomorrow the 3rd? Vegeterian sashimi will be available and will include ahi tuna.
Enjoy trying to explain hwo yogurt parfaits are vegeterian and does gelatin free yogurt exist. I just sat there mouth open and befuddled by that question. Are the yougurt parfaits that they sell in the hotels vegetarian? As in they do not have gelatin or anything?

So I have you and the bed wrecker and maybe Mary Jo from disboards so that is a foursome but I could get a larger table probably.Purpura wrote:My husband and I will be there Churchy. YAY! I wonder if the have a double double California Roll animal style and diet regular Udon Noodles, lol.
8 pm at yamabuki today, friday the 13 minus 10, lol.
Tigger tails are nasty things yuck.
I was researching for people at disboards yesterday. I was looking for quiet spots for a mom with two toddlers with SID. I go to the north path at Matterhorn and met Joshua. He was a bit spastic and in a pushchair. Sweet and maybe 8 years old. I told him my name and grandmother told me his name. I went to shake hands and he gave me his foot so I took it in my hand and gently shook it. Nice to meet you Joshua. That was a sunshine moment as I watched as him revel in the Disney Magic.
