Awwww come on it wasn't that bad, I actually enjoyed my 4 hours of OT at Small World GSO today, in front of the glorious 2 hour line!!!! Plus I made some new 5 year-old friends at the parade(an excuse for not doing any work for the last hour of my OT)

Yeah, I volunteered for OT yesterday, but only worked the first parade. I would've been off right before the parade, but oh well. I can see from yesterday that this week is going to be fun. I think I'll wear my steel toed boots the rest of this week.

I think yesterday was the worst shift I ever worked. The guests seemed 2 notches lower in class than usual (ie when you tell them something they ignore you) and were doing stupid stuff like charging their camcorders in the bathroom hallway after they were told not to since it was making a fire hazard and the wire was a trip hazard (not to mention the owner was nowhere to be found but when it gets stolen they'll make a riot). One cm I know a fellow custodial cm who told a guest "have a merry christmas" to which the guest responded "how the $*&! can I have a merry *$%@*% christmas when I can't get my kid into ****** disneyland on a ****** holiday" to which my coworker responded "have a happy new year too".

Muahahaha that sounds like me last night when I was at a traffic split. It was between shows and this lady was going the wrong way (It really didn't matter, it was normal guest flow, but I felt like being strict). I told her she needed to be on the other side to which she replied, "We're meeting somebody so I'm going this way."

Me: Ok that's fine, but you need to go this way. I then stepped in front of her and held up the rope. As she's walking away I yelled, "Happy Holidays" and she gave me the finger. Good times.

Y'all know what was fun? Greeter at Indy while running the boat house dig(it's a portion of jungle queue) had to do my height check before the crossed the exit line and went up the stairs, around the dig, and came back agian. and somehow everyone but me managed OT! and i'd been trying since monday, then agian, not all shifts (in my area) had been extended. Even with my request to extend to all locations in my line fo bussiness. and from what i hear they pulled people from DCA! no love for the Tragic King.

Everyone was a dick today.

Wow you should have asked for parade GC or Smallworld GSO you would have had to go and get our fabulous costume but we were taking anyone and everyone who showed up for it!!(including people from Sorin' an Tower)

GSO at Small World really wasn't that bad at all. I got to yell at people to the point where I couldn't really talk that much anymore. Stroller patrol was less than interesting and trying to dismantle x-factor was also loads of fun. I did get two hours of overtime, so I was pleased.

The best thing was when I found a stroller that was attached to a railing with a bike lock. ...you know the ones that are steel cabled and have a combination on them. I should have had security come and cut that lock. Oh well.

At the MK, we *never* cut a bike lock. Too hard on the cutting tools. We cut apart the stroller, ECV, wheelchair, or suitcase instead! :twisted:
