This isn't theme park-related, but I used to work in an office where I had to wear a tie. Sometimes before or after work, I had to drop by Publix, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Invariably, someone will stop me and say, "Do you work here?" I had no store name tag, vest, smock, or anything that identified me as an employee. I'd tell them, "No, I don't work here." After a while, I'd be asked if I worked at the store so many times that I was very tempted to say, "No, I don't work here! Do you see a name tag? Does it look like I make $5/hour?"
One time, I walked into a store with a polo shirt and jeans. Someone asked me, "Do you work here?" I almost lost it!

I usually say yes and then point them in the wrong direction, or sometimes if I know what they are looking for and they seem like a nice enough person I'll take them there.

Try going into Target wearing a red shirt of any sort and tan slacks...
