Darn, I'm working indoors today. :( Perhaps another time.

I went outside at Rancho Del Zocalo after seeing a couple people carrying a large amount of beverages and I grabbed some straws to give to them.

After this happened I turned to start going inside and someone walked up to me, and asked if I knew someone named Purpura. I gave Zazu a hug asked if he had a camera, which he didn't and he told me he was going to dinner at 5:30 at Napa Rose. Here's hoping the rest of his day went well.

I had a great day, thanks in part to finally being able to meet you, if only briefly.

Napa Rose is... unmatched. It was the perfect counterpoint to Mom's cooking the way Disneyland was the perfect counterpoint to the funeral (though I did come close to puddling up during the flag retreat -- my dad was a veteran).

Plus I got a couple of good SGTs which I'll be posting shortly.

Maybe next trip I can plan a bit farther in advance and spend more time with folks.
