Re: Transportation trading cards
Stolen or not, that pin is in terrible condition. It looks like it has considerable paint loss and has several scratches.

Re: Transportation trading cards
The pictures they posted of it are horrible. They are out of focus and dark. The first picture has the contrast way off too, it makes the pin look like it was made out of plastic, not chrome plated metal.

Speaking of trading cards, here are the latests ones I got today.

All I need now are the two bus ones I don't have.

Re: Transportation trading cards
One of the Novas, 4815, has hidden Mickeys on the back. After I left, I understand that they made that bus fairly nice to drive.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Re: Transportation trading cards
A friend of mine, who also worked at the monorails, has told me that the number 25 cards were not supposed to be handed out. They were supposed to eventually be the Monorail Peach cards, I guess. This card shows all the monorail colors except Peach, as that color choice hadn't been made until some time after the cards were printed. I got a few of these, when I worked there, and even handed a couple out to guests. I bet they don't know how "rare" of a trading card they have. ;)

I got my hands on an actual Monorail Peach card the day before yesterday, so now my collection is really complete. :D:

Re: Transportation trading cards
Is there an updated list of these cards? Is Monorail Peach #26 and is it still available?
I'm missing 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 17, 20, 25 and Peach. I'll try to get a few of these when I'm down there in... 2 weeks! :D:

Re: Transportation trading cards
I don't know about transportation cards but I can tell you this...I have been trying to collect, from regular cash transactions, the entire set of 50 State Quarters. I've been working on that since it's beginning and had them all except Alaska. Well, on my trip to WDW last week I received change back when I purchased my precious Mickey Bar and there it was...Alaska! Thanks Mickey, however, now I don't know what to do with all those quarters...maybe I should buy more Mickey Bars!

The #25 with all the monorails on it was not supposed to be released to the public and is an index card. I was lucky to get a few when I worked there. All the cards should be available as long as they don't run out. If that happens you will have to wait until they get some more in.
To get all the cards you need to ask the transportation CMs on the monorails, buses and boats. I went to Down Town Disney to ride the boats there and ask for cards. I also rode the buses at Fort Wilderness to ask for cards. Not all transportation cast members have cards, so it takes a bit of running around and asking.
