Seriously, though, one must be aware that not all forms of fashion are suited for all body types. One should match their clothes to the body type they have, not to the body type they would like.
There was a guy at our Star Trek conventions we used to call "Package" Man....and not because he worked for UPS. He had umm...poor taste...in shorts. Nobody wants to see someone else's package like that.

I am not shy about my body, and I love all of me, just the way I am, but..I treat Spandex like salt. A little is okay where appropriate, but it's easy to go overboard. I have worn spandex leggings under a skirt before, but that's as far as I will go. I feel that way for skinny people as well. I have seen people in the parks who are normal sized leaving very little to the imagination.

When I'm at the parks, Spandex is NOT comfortable. I prefer loose fitting clothing that breathes.

I agree...as long as the clothes fit. Some fat people don't want to come to terms with their body and want to wear things that are the size they WANT to be, not the size they are. If you are a size 24, a size 20 is going to look horrible on you. Tight jeans in a size 24 might not look bad, but I see people plain trying to fit 100 lbs into a 50 lb sack, so to speak. Don't wear size 2x spandex if you're a 3x. It makes you look silly.

I don't care if people hate that I'm fat, that's their problem. But I do believe in dressing appropriately, and for me, it's making sure to wear something size appropriate.

Personally I prefer my spandex woven in with other fabrics - particularly denim. It allows it to have a bit of "give" when I bend.

Sadly, if you've seen Star Trek: The Motion Picture, his costume may fit right in. I never wanted to see so much of Spock, Kirk or the rest, and yet I did. :gross:

Butt floss bikinis and topless and mostly from women who should have on more clothing, not less.

Yes and it is bad enough in the water parks, but in the MK or EPCOT when they are wearing spandex with a bare midriff? Who else thinks spandex is only acceptable at the gym or long bike rides and not supermarkets, the mall and especially not the MK?

My ever indiscreet twins at 9 would have been so loud in pointing out the shapely ones or worse, the non-shapely ones that the object of the attention that embarrassment was sure to follow.

those that DO wear inappropriate clothing run the risk of showing up on several web sites, the kind with very unflattering comments!

I have been seeing unfortunate clothing choices at Disney since I was 11 years old so not much surprises me anymore. I certainly wouldn't complain about it since in most cases nothing can be done. What I don't get are the women that wear thongs to the water parks. I've never seen one far from the locker room so I don't know if they are allowed or not. Also last time we went there was also a shirtless man with a horrible breakout on his back. Thank God for chlorine and a healthy immune system.

The one that really made me mad was a girl that was wearing a completely backless shirt, and no top under it. When she turned to the side, you could clearly see the sides of her breasts. Shapely? I guess. Old enough for me to be seeing as much as I did? Not so much.

The worst part was, she and her family (yes, her parents) came up to ask me a question, and they spoke with no discernible accent from anywhere outside the US. I say her dad should have been shot for allowing his daughter to dress like that at all.
