At the four "arch" gates plus Hotel Plaza Blvd (which has gateposts but no arch) entrance if you look to the right at the entrance you will see a white on blue sign that says "Welcome to the Walt Disney World Resort".
So the whole place is WDW Resort. Therefore, people visiting are all Resort Guests, even if not staying at a formally named Hotel.

OMFG....could someone just look up the old threads for this discussion? We were just through this recently....Cheshire Figment wrote:At the four "arch" gates plus Hotel Plaza Blvd (which has gateposts but no arch) entrance if you look to the right at the entrance you will see a white on blue sign that says "Welcome to the Walt Disney World Resort".

Actually I should have added that I have been asked for ID to ride the monorail once, but it was in 1977 and we stayed at FW.goofyjoe wrote:Interesting. The only ticket I signed was my AP. I bought a one-day DQ ticket the last time I was there, and I used it right away, so it probably couldn't have been used by anyone else.
As an aside, it never seems that busy to me at the TTC ticket windows. Or perhaps I just don't ride that way when there are busy times at the parks. It seems like it's a bit of a throwback. I'm old enough to remember when the buses didn't go right to the MK - though back in those days, we took the boats from Fort Wilderness (before cabins, when they had "trailers") :)
Each person in our party was given a card. We only showed it once. Oddly I think it was leaving the Contemporary.

Usually the most boring bus to drive ever. That said, it does have its moments. Like meeting the creator of Pushkurtisnelson wrote:Yes, right behind the Buzz Lightyear meet and greet!
(And I also have no self control)

According to the trash cans, it is the Transportation and Ticket Center. There was one video sign set up for about a week at the ramp to the Epcot Monorail station that said Ticket and Transportation. I have a picture of it somewhere. It is not there now.CptnSkippy wrote:Seems to depend on who you ask. Those in Vacation Planning, it's Ticket and Transportation. Pilots and drivers, it's Transportation and Ticket Center.
And bus drivers.hhsrat wrote:Well, technically, the bus stop is a little past the ODF building which is right behind the Buzz Gate which makes it between Tomorrowland and Main St ... and while we're being technical, I guess we need to add that only cast members with a Pluto permit can ride that bus.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I suspect they are more likely to request you sign it if you're in a group, because if you enter on someone else's ticket you might get stopped since the finger prints don't match.goofyjoe wrote:Interesting. How large of a group though?shilohmm wrote:I suspect they are more likely to request you sign it if you're in a group, because if you enter on someone else's ticket you might get stopped since the finger prints don't match.
The time at the TTC I was with 72 like dressed band trip members. Also the YES tickets we had do not require a finger scan because many groups collect them after the kids enter the park.
At DQ I was with with my family of four.
It just seemed like on these two trips, that were about a year and a half apart, they really wanted you to sign your ticket.
