I think my house may have a haunt or two... i've been on mansion enough times tohave taken one home. Any way i was taking my shower before work, and i always step out to shave. my bathroom has a large amount of Mirrior, so i'm getting ready to shave, and i saw something in one of the mirrors, granted it's foggy, and i was mocing around, it was really spooky, b/c i mean, i'm in my "naturals" alone, ans i see something that isn't me move. it could have been a dense spot in the steam from the shower, or me, but ghosts can't be seen in mirrors, supposedly, so i dismissed it on those grounds. I think ash actually was spread all over indy, so that site was off, but if i had to take a guess, i'd say Mansion would be the most logical place to annouce it as. if that made any sense.

walking the RR tracks at night is an unpleasant one too. One night i waled the track from toon town to new orleans (not comonly done b/c it's a long way to go, and spooky as hell), and i have my radio and my flashlight, which had a bout a five foot range (so i anyone stalking me was at least five feet away) and i just about jumped out of my trousers when i heard monorails make a radio call, but it was cool, b/c then i was able to time their calls, and expect them at a certain time. the worst was seeing a sensor diguesed as a log, and thinking it was a person, place, or thing.

No ghost sightings, but I've had a few weird things happen over in DCA...that probably could have been explained, but myself and the other cast members who were with me have decided we have our own visitor in Entry Plaza stores.

One night I was closing Engin-Ears Toys with one other cast member, and our lead was in the back inputting her numbers in the office when our worklights go off for the night (A lead has to turn them back on with their keys). Before we get a chance to holler for our lead to turn our lights on, we hear one of the mickey hand bopper things go off (sounds like animated breaking glass). I look at the girl beside me, and we know it wasn't stock as they'd already left, so we call out to the lead and she said it wasn't her either. Weird. When she turns the lights back on, her key normally only turns on a specific set of them, I find out later that a series of lights, not connected to the key, turns on with the others.

I suppose it was a bad idea to start telling ghost stories after that.

Then, in Off the Page, we constantly have things falling off their tables or ledges. Nothing breakable, mostly books or our petite prints and sketches. One night, I was closing again, and our store was empty but for myself and my other closer when we hear this thud. One of the books on the edge of the table has 'fallen' off the edge and landed about two feet away, then half the other books near it proceed to fall over the edge as well. We just kind of look at each other and shrug it off. But it happened again yesterday, in front of our guests. Not the books, but a whole shelf of petite prints goes falling onto the floor, and the closest guest was three feet away.

Well, Malfoy, you know there was a guest stabbed to death in our old parking lot (where DCA sits now) back in the 80's on Mormon night, of all nights. Maybe it's him - he was a big Samaoan guy.

Possibly. No one I work with has actually seen a ghost in DCA, but we do get weird little things every once in awhile. I'll let you know if the big Samoan guy shows up. Lol.

Oh great!!! Thanks a lot LostMalfoy! Just what I need to think abt as I walk from the Pier to Greetings after closing, in the dark eerie quiet  . Now I'll be looking over my shoulder for a Samoan dude. I swear the walk from Greetings to Hollywood Gate is haunted. Just somethin' abt that area. I'm positive the Pier area has a few ghosts. Positive!

With the reopening of the Tiki Room you all should watch out for the Night Marchers. If you hear drums you bettah run.
