Yeah, because Disney never runs their rides at capacity whenever they can. :p:Mayonnaise wrote:add extra ride vehicles with a click, etc.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Not sure what you mean by that... or what you thought I was saying that you're trying to refute.Big Wallaby wrote:Yeah, because Disney never runs their rides at capacity whenever they can. :p:

What he is saying is that we run EVERY available, safe and show ready vehicle at all times. If we had more, they would already be on line for that attraction!Mayonnaise wrote:Not sure what you mean by that... or what you thought I was saying that you're trying to refute.

Clear now?

Oh yes, thank you Mapo, that makes sense.
I'm not sure how he got the impression I was saying otherwise tho... the part of my post he quoted was still part of my observations that the article sounded more like Rollercoaster Tycoon than real life.

No worries...his sarcasm was hard to hear in the text ;)
Plus I speak English, British, spanglish (a little), stupid guest, drunk idiot, and Wallaby!
This is absolutely not to say that BW is a SG or drunk idiot. These are just listed in the order I learned them!
I need to write a book..."All I needed to learn from working at MK". Ahhhh a retirement project for my twilight years. :D:

Re: Technology Helps Disney Fight Long Lines
I am sorry, no sarcasm was directed at you. I was going along with you, about how on RCT# you can add a train with the simplicity of a click, and how Disney is, as the article would have you believe, going to have the same ability... if only they didn't keep every available operational vehicle possible running. The exceptions are ride systems that require an operator for each individual vehicle (buses, monorails, Jungle Cruise boats, etc... and I add transportation to that list because it's apparent that's all some think they are).
So sorry, I didn't mean anything bad your way, Mayo.

Ah, no problem. :D: Someday we'll have text that shows the emotion. The problem comes today in that I don't use smileys enough.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I am not sure, but Toshiba is working on 3D without glasses, so long as you sit in one of three places in front of the TV and you don't want to watch anything 2D. That will have to hold you over.
