LOL, could be. Everytime they call it that, I try to repeat the real name to them constantly.
"How do I get to Circus Ole?"
"CIRQUE DU SOLEIL is over at Downtown Disney, so you'll need to take a bus from here to get to it."
"And is there a good restaurant near it?"
"Right next to CIRQUE DU SOLEIL is House of Blues and just further down is Bongo's and Wolfgang Puck's."
"How long does the circus last?"
"CIRQUE DU SOLEIL lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, seating starts about an hour beforehand."
"Oh, ok. And then tomorrow night, we've got tickets for that Hoopla over at the Wilderness Lodge..."
Ah, just a slice of daily life at the front desk

I HATE it when people mispronounce that. It's what they hear]high[/i]?" (Which, in fact, they were throughout the show ... funny to watch ... especially when things pop up from trap doors or come down from the ceiling ... heh....)Disney711 wrote:I have guests constantly referring to Cirque du Soleil as Circus Ole.

My assistant manager at Ben & Jerrys calls Walt Disney World, thats right, Disneyland. Whenever I try to correct her (EVERYTIME) she threatens to fire me. Yet she loves Walt Disney World, despite not knowing any of the attraction names. I hope I dont run into her down there.FebruaryStar02 wrote:I HATE it when people mispronounce that.Disney711 wrote:I have guests constantly referring to Cirque du Soleil as Circus Ole.

LOL! Jon, I've never met your manager of course, but picturing this made me laugh out loud because I'm imagining a look of earnest shock or something similar on your face. I've had to correct people on the DL/WDW thing a few times, but they've all taken it well!My assistant manager at Ben & Jerrys calls Walt Disney World, thats right, Disneyland. If you cannot picture her, just think of her as if Professor Umbridge from Harry Potter V decided to give up magic and instead work at Ben & Jerrys at RIT. Im reading HP V again and it just is so much more clearer now.RiaLucia wrote:Dack48wrote:

I don't hate "Honey" that much!! It's o k once in a while. It's pretty chill and relaxed. I don't want to work it for weeks straight. Then is gets boring and pretty repetitive. Now that "Fantasmic!" is down, I have no choose. :D Well, maybe I can work "Honey" and "Astro Orbitor".GMC wrote:everyopne that works at "honey" seems to hate it, i know at least two of your guys see their attraction once every three months, just because they hate it so much there, and you go by fantasmicdan, so i assume that you're possibly in the same boat, and just do guest control stuff to avoid ur attraction. well whatever i'm too distracted to sound intelligent right now....
Do you give them the most obvious answer??? "Take the 5 freeway North to Magic Mountain Parkway??" :DDLSweeper wrote:Matterhorn: Magic Mountain
