Hey - I remember doing that as a kid, too! We'd wax the slide with wax paper and it would really add some speed, at least for whoever went down next.

Gosh, haven't thought about that for many years. Thanks, Turkeyham, for bringing back a childhood memory.

We put sand down the slide first. Had to keep an eye out for the yard teacher, she'd get after us if she caught us doing that.
