Yeah, that's what I was talking about with BB. Why leave...it's rain. You're getting wet anyway. Strange.

I've seen people sitting on the metal railings at EPCOT, watching a massive thunderstorm move in, as if the laws of nature don't apply. One thing I learned very quickly in FL- respect the storms!
If Disney is going to mess with natural forces they should do something about all the gravity pulling on us. My feet wouldn't hurt so much if they could put us on moon gravity or something.

True dat, but why leave? Cower inside a store or bathroom if you feel like you must, but don't leave unless the CMs tell you they're shutting the whole shebang down for the day. Well, IMO anyway. ;)

I remember working at IASW during downpours. We would have to stand in the pouring rain getting drenched, BEGGING people to leave the exit, since they were stopping when they saw the rain, and the entire exit ramp would back up. We'd have to shut down on occasion since people eventually wouldn't be able to get out of the boats.
The self-centeredness of the people doing the blocking astounded me. Because they didn't want to get wet, they were willing to just stand there, effecting hundreds of other people in the process, not to mention ignoring us, who are asking them to move all the while getting drenched ourselves.... ugh.

I always yell to people running from the rain that water is the life of the Earth. They shoot me dirty looks and tell me to shut up. I just smile :D:

So is mud and manure, but I don't want those pouring down on me, ether! :cat1:
Seriously, though, not everyone has the same tolerance to being wet, particularly when one is fully clothed.

That has been one of the really funny things working at TL. Rain starts and these already wet people RUN for cover and head for the exits. However, if we should have an electrical storm without rain, the same SG's will have stomping, whining fits that we are closing down the attractions.
