I heard Sherri Shephard say that yesterday too! I nearly fell off of the treadmill at the gym....

Let's give more people the idea that regardless of whether or not you need a GAC...it doesn't mean FRONT OF THE LINE.
As far as the bathroom thing...oh heck yeah. I have 2 younger boys...5 and 3. Both are wanderers. Unless i'm in a bathroom with only one entrance/exit, it's not busy and dad is outside waiting....those kids are getting trapped into a stall with me.

Witches stay free? huzzah! Will there be skyclad services at the campgrounds too?

No...they'd insist that she
is entitled to a GAC regardless of need.

Oops typo :D: but this opens more perspectives for them. Maybe a free stay at the HP Hogwarths Castle?

That's what I was thinking when I read that. That's not ADHD that's a kid. No wonder there are so many new childhood problems. It certainly cannot be bad parenting it must be a "disorder". Will we ever get our common sense back? It makes me worry for the future.

Unfortunately, as much as the description of the beahvior does seem to cover most childhood behaviors, my child actually does have ADHD, and the behaviors are EXTREME: he can't concentrate for long on multiple subjects (his test was actually kind of funny...the doctor came back in confused and said "Kyle, did you take the test", he said yes and she asked why he didn't click the spacebar when the X came on the screen. His answer: 'cause there was too much to look at it the room! :D :) , figets in his seat at school, doesn't pay attention for long to his coaches (he'll want to try out a wrestling move even before the coach finishes explaining how it needs to be done). So, there's a lot more involved and it is a disorder rather than bad parenting. On his new meds, however, he is a [mostly] well behaved boy; his teacher even sent me a email saying she noticed improvement immediately and wanted to know what I had done to him! His conduct grade in school went from dismal to an outstanding!

Congrats to your son for his good conduct he must be very proud of himself and he should be.
For what it is worth he will be just fine in the future. I know several very successful men and women who are ADHD and they live very productive normal adult lives.

Yay for your son! We have a 16-y.o. with both ADHD and ADD; he has pretty much no impulse control whatsoever. Doing WDW with him was tricky at best, however, I didn't think it warranted a GAC. We're home schooling next year because despite their best attempts, the school just isn't equipped to deal with him and his level of behavioral issues. I'm a telecommuter, so this should prove to be interesting.

^What?!? Go off topic! Well...that's just....not allowed!!!! LMAO
Anyhow, thanks for the words, my friends (yes, you are my friends....ha ha ha). Yup, Kyle had that no impulse control thing going and, I'll tell you, still does. We tried to have him sans patch on Sunday. Within an hour I yelled to hubby "put the damn thing on him!!!". :) He's a good boy and he was trying, but no such luck. And I agree, he may be ADHD (as well as other things) but that does not merit a GAC...if anything, he would get another time out in a family bathroom if he acted up.
And thanks for the words about the future. I can tell you that I consider myself a successful accountant and have been diagnosed with ADHD as well...can you tell by how many times I post during the day?!? (I just can't concentrate on one thing for too long and THAT'S why I have a dayplanner with my day written out in detail).
Have a wonderful day, everyone!!!

My wife is ADD and cant sit still, shes always off doing something then off to something else. Da kid is also adhd, he has meds that help alot, and the impulse stuff will drive you nuts, but hes a good kid.
Dragonfox98, one thing that has a big effect of Trevor is red dye, when he consumes anything with red dye in it it doesnt matter about the meds hes a different kid. there are things in the diet like that that will cause problems especially with the adhd kids so thats something to think about. Suger can also have a negative effect (on any kid). But one thing I have taught him is not to be an SG, when we are at the parks and he starts to act up I just ask him if hes going to be an SG, and if he is then he cant hang out with me and hes pretty good about being good. I never even considered asking for a pass of any kind because of this, even on one trip when his meds got left behind.
