I wonder if an SG have lost any hats on the Kilimanjaro Safaris? And have these SG tried to retreive that item when the animals are very active such as the lions?

The lions (as well as other animals) are separated from guests and each other by carefully hidden barriers. It is not a free for all.

Darn! Ok. I heard a good story from security a few days ago. Last week's grad nite was different. A stupid grad climbed to the top of the train station on MS. Not on the stair case but to the top of the building. Ding! Ding! Ding! Good job partner! You have just won a trip to your bus for the night with 1 of your escourts!!!!

And we thought the stabbing 6 years ago at the Festival Arena looked tamed! Climbing up to the monorail and not seeing it come towards you, I don't know how to handle that one.

Later today my sister and my 2 nephews are coming to get me. We are taking a sack meal for dinner and I wonder if we will see any SG at large. :)

I witnessed this two weeks ago at DL. I went to the Hungry Bear restaurant in Critter Country for something to eat. I went to the farthest spot I could on the top floor that overlooked the Rivers of America. Behind me were two young women with their picnic lunch.
What's so SG about this? Well two of DL's feral cats came wandering over to their table. These cats were nice long haired cats (they could have been related). The SG's proceed to feed them parts of their lunch-which consisted of lunch meat and chicken. I tried to tell them (without being overly aggressive) that these cats were wild and they shouldn't feed them, but they either ignored me or didn't understand me.
The cats serve a purpose in the park. They help to control the vermin population and by making pets out of them, in my opinion, diminishes their prey drive. (I don't own cats, so if I'm wrong, sorry)
It is also a liability issue. What if the cats scratched or bit those SG's or someone else? They could sue and there would go the cats. A child tried to pet these cats before being pulled away by her parents. What if a child got bit?
Not sure who to talk to at the Hungry Bear, I reported what I saw to City Hall. I told them of my concerns and suggested a sign telling guests not to feed the animals. I don't know if this was taken seriously or not. I hope it was.

all cats are opportunists when it comes to food. Those guys probably figured out that people that are eating there are a soft touch for nibbles.

if they are feral, they will still hunt for 'other" sources of food. even if they don't consume it all after a kill.

Does anyone know if for Grad Nites the kids are allowed to bring in a sealed water bottle and a small amount of snacks to put into a locker? Also, are they allowed to reserve any spots at Disney Dining? Finding out for a friend,
her DTR going to DLR Thurs night and doesn't want to be a SG. Thanks. :)

Doubt it about bringing food/drink - it gets trashed during our Grad Night's friendly frisks. Also doubt that table service is operating, just quick service locations, but I'm sure someone from Anaheim would know better than me.

No water of any kind nor food can be brought in. DD is closed on Grad Nites.
